We left Carmel quite early, the weather was much better than the drizzly day we had while driving up the Big Sur.

We decide to drive to Monterey for the day and take a look at the famous Pebble Beach 17 Mile drive. The drive is just mind blowingly beautiful. The road winds around a stunningly dramatic scenery. It is well worth the $10 dollars toll.  Big Little Lies was filmed in Pebble Beach and the powerful story line fits in extremely well in this area.

Biagio kept on asking me to move back…. I didn’t fall for that one. I’m still here!

We obviously stopped off at the famous Poppy Hills golf course for a spot of lunch as one does. The portions here are starting to be more sensible, but the prices are now getting silly!

This is definitely a place I would love to live in… next stop Monterey!
